I’ve always had this feeling — like there’s something more underneath it all.
Not in some dramatic, grand way. Just… a quiet pull. A sense that life isn’t meant to be lived so fast, or filtered, or constantly distracted. That maybe there’s something worth noticing in the stillness, in the struggle, in the small, honest moments we usually brush past.
Beneath the Surface is where I started writing that out.
Not because I have it all figured out — far from it — but because I needed a place to be real. A place to ask the questions we usually skip over. A place to process what it means to slow down and actually feel something, instead of just performing like everything’s fine.
This blog is part journal, part reflection, part open-ended conversation. Some days I’ll write about what’s weighing on me. Other days I’ll share the little things that helped. Either way, my hope is that if you’re reading this, you find something that makes you feel less alone. Something that reminds you to look a little deeper — into your own life, your own thoughts, your own story.
We’re all just figuring it out.
Thanks for showing up here.
